I think we must get at least 200 hours under 45 degrees in the fall and winter. That's only 20-30 nights, right? I'm a little up a hill, so it definitely gets that cold, not in the daytime but certainly at night. Dave Wilson actually recommends Pink Lady for the Southwest, so hmmm... I suspect it's the soil or location that's messing up my Pink Lady apples, but I don't have enough fruit tree knowledge to figure it out yet.Audreyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14094126631412611631noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13906347.post-79296888451660234172013-06-05T22:14:59.653-07:002013-06-05T22:14:59.653-07:00Pink Lady requires 300-400 chill hours which you m...Pink Lady requires 300-400 chill hours which you might not be getting in S. They seemed like a great match, but of course your mileage may vary. Bunnies have distinct personalities, just like chickens.
Best of luck and thanks for the work you put into your blog.
-Shelley
Long BeachAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13906347.post-74842540218188653922013-05-05T07:41:59.271-07:002013-05-05T07:41:59.271-07:00They certainly are pretty.
